Available for SaleEnquire / Get Your CopyThe founder records that he started his college business in Nairobi in 1986. By 1995, DIMA had grown from about 100 students to nearly 2,000 learners taking courses including Accounting, Information and Communication Technologies, Secretarial, Hotel and Catering Management.
After reorganising the Runyenjes college operation and concentrating on computer packages, he saw an opportunity in driving training. DIMA Driving School was registered and classes began in April 2015, with Doris Namũ managing the combined driving school and computer college and David Mũrithi Nyaga engaged as the first instructor.
After the Runyenjes model picked up, the business expanded to Embu at Mũgo and Gatungo Building, opposite the Governor's Office and next to Huduma Centre/Post Office. The Embu operation combined driving and computer training with cyber and agency services.
The founder later established the Nairobi driving-school branch. After the licensing and instructor requirements were addressed, the Nairobi branch became operational in August 2019.
